This footpath runs from Maddoxford Lane (GR 4510 1145) across the golf course to Ford Lake (4513 1154) where the path continues in Durley Parish for a short distance to Chancellors Lane.
The bridge across Ford Lake is a nice solid concrete one on concrete pillars. Just upstream of the bridge however there is a fallen tree which is partially blocking the stream and diverting water across to the western side where there is now significant erosion which is threatening to destroy the bridge. The tree needs removing from the stream so that the flows can return to normal. See the pictures below.
Where the path in Durley joins Chancellors Lane it would appear that substantial amount of material has been burnt in the lay-by, the stile has been demolished together with any signage indicating the start of the northern end of the path. The end of the path needs clearing of debris and a new footpath sign erected. See two photographs below.
